What are the symptoms of COVID-19?
If you've been exposed to the COVID-19 virus, you may exhibit a wide range of symptoms, from mild to severe, including:
- Chills
- Congestion or runny nose
- Cough
- Fatigue
- Fever
- Headache
- Muscle pain
- New loss of taste or smell
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Sore throat
What are rapid and PCR testing for COVID-19?
If you think you may have been exposed to COVID-19, contact one of our facilities or your healthcare provider. Make sure to keep track of your symptoms. If you have trouble breathing, seek emergency medical attention immediately.
With our virtual visits, you can receive personalized care from the comfort of your own home, and our specialists will be able to determine if you need COVID-19 testing. We provide a few different testing options, including the rapid antigen test. Results are available within 15 minutes and are most accurate one to five days after symptoms appear. The rapid antigen tests we administer are more reliable than at-home test kits.
We also offer the PCR test, which uses the genetic signature of the virus to determine if you're infected. PCR tests may help guide your diagnosis when a rapid test isn’t the best choice, such as if you need a PCR test to travel or return to work. Results are available within 48 hours or less.
If your test is positive, you may be eligible to receive oral antiviral medication, which helps lessen the effects of COVID-19. Your care team will determine if COVID-19 treatment is right for you based on your health and other factors.
